"Live to Ride, Ride to Give"

Roll Me Away, By Bob Seger

More than just a good song, Bob Seger's "Roll Me Away" is a song of hope. Life is about choices, anyone can be or do anything! Sometime, you simply have to Make It Happen!

"To All Eagle Riders"

From Grand Aerie Liaison

if anyone has any questions that need to be brought before the GBOT, they can send me the questions and I will get them answered, if I don't already have the answer.  Also, they can call me if they need to.  I have been appointed the Liaison between the Eagle Riders and the GBOT. They can get my number or email address from the Grand or you can send it to them. If you don't have it let me know and I will send it to you.

Thanks,

Eagle Riders Financial Reporting

Eagle Riders Groups are established as Groups within a Club.

The Eagle Riders Groups must keep their books in accordance with the Aerie's books and must provide the financial information to the Aerie on a routine basis. The Aerie will incorporate the information into their financial reporting for the accounting and tax purposes. ( Routine can be defined by the Aerie and Eagle Rider Groups as monthly or quarterly, depending on the reporting parameters of the Aerie.)

There is no other option for reporting for the IRS purpose. The Aeries are established under the umbrella of the FOE 501(c)8 non-profit determination and registered as part of the Grand Aerie "Group". Eagle Riders Groups fall under the Aeries in the IRS hierarchy.

An Eagle Riders Group may get an IRS TAX ID number for Banking Purpose Only so that they may have banking accounts with the Eagle Rider Officers as the signers.

This must be done to keep in-compliance with the IRS. I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Iron Eagle Information

"25 in 25"

Hello Riders, I have been in touch with Darrell Rall and the members of the Iron Eagle. They are getting there maps and route finalized and they will soon try to get information posted so that everyone will have something to look at for the ride. They have the web site up for everyone to look at, www.ironeagle.org. There is a lot of information on there already and it would be great if everyone would take a look at what's going on so far.
If a group would want to host Darrell, you should let the organizers know as soon as possible so that they can get it set in there route. We all know that he won't be able to visit all of us, so if you are so lucky to have him in your Aerie it probably wont be for a long visit. If he isn't able to come to your Aerie, there is still a chance for you to help with this adventure and to help raise money to finish with the payoff of the DRC. One event that is happening right now is you can purchase raffle tickets for the custom chopper or the V-ROD Muscle or $15,000 cash that they are raffling off during the ride. If you want tickets to sell you can purchase them directly from Iron Eagle.
There is so much going on with this ride, that it takes awhile to get it all set up. When you go to the web site, you can look at many things that are hard to explain in a letter. Check out the T-shirts and Polo shirts, they look great. The Iron Eagle will have a live feed of the total ride for those that want to follow along on the web. With all of this going on and the ride coming up in June, we need to get the word out there so everyone has a understanding on what we are trying to accomplish. Please pass on all this information and let others know how to check this out. This is a big deal for the Eagles, Eagle Riders and the Motorcycle world. With this ride being a world record ride and a Charity Fund Raiser, we have a lot to look forward to.
The web site is www.ironeagle.org, and you can contact James Kimsey at James.Kimsey@ironeagle.org for more information or you can email me at walkupden@yahoo.com.
I will be passing on more information in the future, so please let everyone know about this and check out what you can do to make this happen.
